IN-HOUSE CUSTOMER SERVICE/SALES REPRESENTATIVE

  • Receive orders from customers (via the phone, WhatsApp, website, or walk-in).The ability to influence others to accept ideas by using convincing arguments to create a win-win situation.
  • Advice customers about the range of products and services offered.
  • Generate quotations based on customers’ requirements.
  • Generate the order sheet and forward it to production.
  • Coordinate order flow with production and secure best ship time to meet customer due dates.
  • Keep customers updated on the progress of their order.
  • Arrange mutually agreeable times for installation and convey same to the installation & after sales department.
  • Follow up with customers to make sure they are satisfied with their purchases and to answer any questions or concerns.
  • Collate customers ‘after sales service request and schedule mutually agreeable time with the Installation Department.
  • Meet targets set by the Sales/Customer Service Manager.
  • Ensuring full understanding of the Company’s quality standards and expected standards of service in support of this role.
  • All other task assigned.

 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a Customer Services, manufacturing and retail Sales environment.
  • Diploma, associate, or bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing.

  • The ability to cultivate and establish strong relationships, internally and externally.
  • Experience working within a busy customer service, fast paced and demanding environment, with the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working within a manufacturing and retail environment.
  • Highly customer focused and can demonstrate excellent communication and telephone skills.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of customer service ‘Best Practice”.
